What is Server Rack Battery

Server frame battery is a battery spare system that provides uninterrupted power supply for the server and network devices stored in the server rack. It is also called UPS or battery backup.

If the power outage, the server rack battery will automatically switch to the battery power to keep the server run without interference. The battery backup allows the staff to have the time to close the server or switch to the replacement power supply.

The server rack battery has different sizes and capacity, depending on the power volume required by the device in the support frame. Their scope from providing a backup power to a single server to a large system that can support multiple devices.

In general, server frame batteries are an important part of any data center or server room to ensure the continuous operation of key devices and avoid any potential data loss or stop time caused by power outages.
