Battery Storage
What is Battery Storage
Storage Battery is an electrochemical device that stores electrical energy in chemical form. It consists of one or more cells containing positive and negative electrodes, an electrolyte solution, and a separator to prevent short circuits.
During charging, the battery receives electrical energy to drive chemical reactions within the battery that convert the energy into chemical forms for later use. Instead, during discharge, the stored chemical energy is converted back into electrical energy to power the device.
Storage batteries are widely used in backup power supplies, electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, and portable electronics due to their high energy density, long lifetime, and low maintenance requirements.
